Roland Baldi Architects Designs Wooden Forestry Station in Nova Ponente

Roland Baldi Architects has completed the design of a forestry station in Nova Ponente, Italy, set to finish in 2026. The 435 m² administrative building, curated by Hadir Al Koshta, houses the local forestry office of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano. Constructed primarily from wood, the architecture reinterprets traditional two-story residential houses with pitched roofs, reducing the form to essentials to create a conscious contrast with the existing context while maintaining dialogue. The lead team includes Carlo Scolari, with Roland Baldi as office lead architect.
