Rodrigo Moura appointed artistic director of MALBA
Rodrigo Moura has been appointed the artistic director of MALBA, the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires. Moura brings extensive experience, having served as chief curator at El Museo del Barrio in New York and as deputy curator at the Museu de Arte São Paulo from 2016 to 2019, after working at the Inhotim Institute in Brazil. His selection comes after Gabriela Rangel's departure in 2021. MALBA was founded in 2001 by Eduardo Costantini and has grown from 220 to over 600 Latin American artworks, featuring renowned artists like Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. The museum recently launched MALBA—PUERTOS near Buenos Aires.
