Roca's Avant Toilet Integrates Cistern for Space-Saving Bathroom Design

architecture-design · 2026-04-19

Roca's Avant toilet features an integrated cistern that reduces its footprint by 20 centimeters compared to conventional models. Available in both electric and non-electric versions, the design includes floorstanding and wall-hung options. The Venturi effect enables a flush that operates 15 percent quieter than standard toilets. Developed with French company SIAMP, the system holds a patent and complies with European safety standard EN1717. Three additional patent applications are currently pending. The Avant-E electric model maintains performance under low water pressure conditions. Roca's Rimless Vortex® system ensures splash-free hygiene, while the Supraglaze® finish prevents particle accumulation. With 78 factories across 170 countries, Roca has operated for over a century.
