Roberto Coda Zabetta paints rooftop of former military hospital in Naples
From September 22 to October 14, 2017, Roberto Coda Zabetta (born 1975 in Biella) will present 'Cantiere 1 / Terrazzo', a site-specific painting on the terrace of the 17th-century Complesso della SS. Trinità delle Monache, formerly the Ospedale Militare, in Naples. Curated by Maria Savarese, the project is promoted by Fondazione Donnaregina as part of the Matronato program. The large-scale intervention will be visible from the hilly areas behind the complex, engaging with the surrounding landscape and community. The work explores the intersection of painting, architecture, and territory, using contemporary art to foster reflection on the valorization and protection of historical heritage.
