Roberto Almagno's Sculptures at Lisbon's Italian Cultural Institute

The Italian Cultural Institute in Lisbon hosts 'Gli alberi si rivelano' (The Trees Reveal Themselves), a solo exhibition of sculptor Roberto Almagno curated by Lorenzo Canova. The show features around twenty works, including sculptures and drawings, inspired by a verse from Fernando Pessoa's poem 'Corre aos meus pés'. Canova draws parallels between Almagno's trees and Pessoa's poetic vision of nature. The exhibition is part of a cycle dedicated to contemporary Italian art, organized under the new directorship of Luisa Violo. It runs until June 16 at the institute's venue, a former chapel of a noble palace.
