Rising Voices Brings Asia Pacific Contemporary Art to V&A
The V&A Museum in London has unveiled a new exhibition named 'Rising Voices: Contemporary Art from Asia, Australia and the Pacific,' showcasing over 70 works by more than 40 artists from 25 countries. This exhibition, which runs from May 16 to September 10, is in partnership with the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art, commemorating over three decades of the Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art. Curated by Daniel Slater, it is divided into three themes: 'Re-Visioning History,' 'Enduring Knowledge,' and 'Evolving Faith.' Highlights include pieces by Michael Parekōwhai and Takahiro Iwasaki, addressing global art visibility.
