Ringscape Architecture: rigenerazione urbana partecipata nelle Marche

Ludovica Medori and Giorgia Pierleoni, architects and founders of Ringscape Architecture, focus on urban regeneration and temporary interventions in public spaces. Both graduated from Ferrara and gained Erasmus+ experience in Stuttgart and Vienna before continuing their careers in Rotterdam, London, and Madrid. Their portfolio encompasses both public and private architecture. They won the Next Generation Schools call from the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, yet have not been contacted by any schools. In Casette d'Ete (Fermo), they oversee the urban regeneration festival Casette ON, which received the national award Idee per un mondo che cambia from AIDIA in 2022. The second edition will take place from March 18 to 24, 2024, featuring augmented reality, a 3D model, and a permanent pedestrianization of part of Piazza Mazzini. The festival originated from a commission by the Casette d'Ete Youth Center and EraFutura cooperative to revitalize the square, previously a parking lot. Ringscape Architecture also created the Green Pavilion in Vienna, in collaboration with Mobilitätsagentur Wien, which was showcased at MAO in Ljubljana for the Future Architecture Platform. The name Ringscape is derived from their thesis on Schwedenplatz-Morzinplatz in Vienna along the Ringstraße.
