Ringling Museum Opens Call for 2026 Wonder Symposium Proposals
The Ringling Museum has issued a call for proposals for its third annual Wonder Symposium, scheduled for October 15–16, 2026. The symposium will explore the role of museums and cultural organizations as agents of wonder in building and sustaining community. Proposals are invited in six tracks: Sharing Wonder, Preserving Wonder, Fostering Wonder, Practicing Wonder, Studying Wonder, and Encounters with Wonder. Submissions are due by July 8, 2026, with notifications by July 17. Accepted presenters receive a $100 honorarium; travel scholarships are available upon request.
