At the 2026 Met Gala, themed 'Fashion is Art,' Rihanna dazzled in a couture gown by Margiela, designed by Glenn Martens, complemented by a custom hairpiece from Yusef Williams and Jennifer Behr. The hairpiece, dubbed a 'living sculpture,' showcased 40 meticulously crafted wire curls finished in dark bronze and hand-painted with gold, embellished with champagne and black diamond Swarovski crystals. Styled by Jahleel Weaver, the gown originated from the 2025 artisanal collection, featuring a draped column silhouette influenced by medieval Flemish architecture, constructed from duchess woven silk and recycled metal threads, along with a corset adorned with over 115,000 crystal beads. Rihanna's makeup, created by Hector Espinal, utilized Fenty Beauty products, including a new bronzer set to launch on May 1. Her look was further enhanced with a Dyne ear cuff and Glenn Spiro earrings.
