Richard Tuttle Lecture at Columbia Launches Art and Spirituality Series

exhibition · 2026-05-01

The LeRoy Neiman Gallery at Columbia University is currently featuring an exhibition called 'Fool's House,' which is a playful collection of abstract art. Curated by MFA student Nora Griffin, who also writes for Brooklyn Rail and artcritical, the exhibition includes pieces from artists such as Jim Lee, Becky Brown, Peter Gallo, Josephine Halvorson, and Ron Gorchov. This showcase will run until October 29, 2010. The title references a work by Jasper Johns, and Griffin's piece 'Of Bricks…Who Built it?' incorporates text from John Ashbery. Additionally, on October 27, Richard Tuttle will give a lecture titled 'Refiguring the Spiritual' at the nearby Miller Theater, starting at 6:30pm.
