Richard Hammond fined £999 for speeding in Herefordshire

Former Top Gear host Richard Hammond has been sanctioned for speeding on two occasions in December 2025. The 56-year-old was detected driving at 68 mph in a 50 mph limit on the A40 in Pencraig on December 2 in his Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo. Just three weeks later, on December 22, he was spotted reaching 82 mph in a 70 mph zone on the A50 Rudhall Overbridge while operating a Bentley Continental GT. Admitting to the charges via his legal representative, Hammond faced a total fine of £1,771 and received seven penalty points on his driving license from Magistrate Ann Minton.
