Riccardo Previdi blends 3D printing and ceramics in 'Andrà tutto bene' at Francesca Minini

Riccardo Previdi, a Milan native born in 1974, presents his exhibition titled 'Andrà tutto bene' at Galleria Francesca Minini, where he merges traditional ceramics with cutting-edge digital 3D printing. Utilizing a large-format WASP 3D printer, he produces distinctive clay artworks. The exhibition is divided into two sections: one displays ceramic vases crafted from scanned pumpkins, while the other showcases 'NOI' mechanical maneki neko cats, which debuted in 2019. Collaborators on this project include Alessandro Dell'Ara, Marco Malavolti, Lorella Morgantini, and Cristina Casadei. The exhibition's title pays homage to pandemic slogans from his grandmother Angela and delves into themes of life and death through urns inspired by diverse cultural practices. Previdi, who received an honorable mention at Premio Termoli, is also working on a bus shelter project named 'T®abucco' for the MACTE museum.
