Riccardo Costantini opens GSF Contemporary Art in Turin's Galleria San Federico

On December 16, 2017, Riccardo Costantini Contemporary inaugurated GSF Contemporary Art, a new 250-square-meter exhibition space on the second floor of Galleria San Federico in Turin. The gallery, managed in partnership with collector Marco Albeltaro, will focus on site-specific projects by established artists, complementing Costantini's existing gallery on Via Giolitti. The inaugural show features Enrico T. De Paris (born 1960 in Mel, Belluno), who will present a suspended installation over 4 meters tall. Future programming includes solo exhibitions by Ferdi Giardini (collateral to a perfume show at Palazzo Madama), Paolo Albertelli, Maria Grazia Abbaldo, and Patrizia Mussa (coinciding with Turin's first photography festival organized by Museo Ettore Fico and Camera). Costantini and Albeltaro also run Over the trash project room in Milan, a smaller space in a former lamp factory that targets younger or marginalized artists, currently showing Francesca Belgiojoso and Pablo Mesa Capella. The duo are members of the Blitz association and previously collaborated on a show at the Festival della Tv e dei Nuovi media in Dogliani in May 2017.
