Rhizome Group Exhibition at Galleria Poggiali in Florence
Galleria Poggiali in Florence presents 'Rhizome', a group exhibition inspired by Deleuze and Guattari's rhizomatic theory, featuring thirteen artists whose works interconnect without hierarchy. The show includes Fabio Viale's suspended concave bust 'Kouros (Hollow)', Goldschmied & Chiari's 'Paesaggio Artificiale', Gilberto Zorio's porcelain star on black leather 'Stella Africa', and Claudio Parmiggiani's butterfly-adorned harp 'Senza titolo', previously shown in his 2019 solo exhibition 'A cuore aperto' in Florence. Other artists include Eliseo Mattiacci, Manfredi Beninati, Marco Fantini, Luigi Ghirri, Grazia Toderi, and Luca Pignatelli with classical subjects 'Afrodite' and 'Testa femminile'. The exhibition concludes with David LaChapelle's 'Awakened' series, depicting a submerged figure awaiting awakening in another dimension. A virtual tour is available. The exhibition runs until January 25.
