Rewild: Climate Change Art Cycle at Il Vicolo Gallery, Milan
Galleria d’Arte Il Vicolo in Milan launches Rewild, a year-long cycle of exhibitions curated by The Curators Milan (Frankie Caradonna, Tomaso Cariboni, Lucia Emanuela Curzi, Stefano Gagliardi, Dario Spinelli). The gallery transforms into a Temporary Autonomous Artistic Zone (TAAZ) focusing on art, design, new technologies, and environmental sustainability. The program unfolds in six chapters, each featuring an installation that blends figurative, plastic, and digital art. The first chapter, Rewild. Prologue: Diatoms in the multiverse (January 19 – February 13, 2021), presents Ludovico Bomben's work on diatoms—microscopic phytoplankton crucial for oxygen production. Bomben's installation includes Dardo, an iron sculpture of a balanced arrow pointing to a hologram of a diatom, accompanied by sound. The exhibition is accessible both in-person at Via Maroncelli 2 and online via www.thecuratorsmilan.com.
