Review Panel Events Feature Guggenheim Fellows in Brooklyn and Philadelphia

The third session of The Review Panel is scheduled for Tuesday at the Brooklyn Public Library. Podcasts and videos from the February and March meetings are now available on artcritical and YouTube, featuring panelists including Siri Hustvedt, Roberta Smith, Alexi Worth, Svetlana Alpers, Laurie Fendrich, and David Salle. Last week, the fourth annual season of The Review Panel Philadelphia concluded at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, with David Cohen hosting guests Eileen Neff, Edith Newhall, and Ken Johnson. During that event, congratulations were extended to Neff for recently winning a Guggenheim fellowship, as had artist Michele Segre, whose work was discussed. Cohen also noted that February panelist Laurie Fendrich was named a new fellow in that morning's Times list, and he might have mentioned Robert Storr, another recipient scheduled for Tuesday's panel. The association with The Review Panel appears beneficial for Guggenheim applications.
