RETOKA Studio and Ruben® launch Big Apple Beats: 3D illustrations visualizing New York's soundscape

RETOKA Studio and Ruben® have collaborated on Big Apple Beats, a project creating 3D illustrations that transform New York City's auditory landscape into visual form. Using photography of the city's iconic lights combined with digital effects, they produce bold, colorful images resembling music equalizers. These dynamic shapes symbolize the metropolis's pulsating rhythm. The artists explicitly state no artificial intelligence was used in creating these works, prohibiting any reproduction without written consent. Their approach merges real-life photographs with digital manipulation to create a fusion of tangible and abstract elements. The project aims to celebrate New York's diverse, energetic culture through visual representations of sound. All images are protected against unauthorized use, including by AI algorithms. The resulting visuals serve as a testament to the artists' creative prowess in translating auditory experiences into captivating imagery.
