Résonances 3rd Edition: Photography, Video and Heritage in the Centre Region
The third edition of Résonances took place in France's Centre region from September 20 to November 23, 2003. This annual autumn festival focused on three main aspects: new artworks highlighting the area's architectural landmarks, particularly the Loire Valley châteaux; a solo display in Orléans featuring Robert Doisneau's photography of the Loire; and a group show titled 'Pour de vrai ?' at the Château de Tours, curated by Aline Pujo, which examines reality in photography. This exhibition includes works from over twenty artists, with four major video pieces by David Claerbout, Mark Lewis, Michal Rovner, and Ange Leccia. Notable commissioned artists include Sam Taylor-Wood and Janaina Tschäpe, among others. The event benefits from loans from prominent private collections.
