Residenze Reali Sabaude seek new Director: application requirements

The Consorzio delle Residenze Reali Sabaude has launched a selection process for a new Director to oversee the management of the Reggia di Venaria Reale, its Gardens, and the Castello della Mandria, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1997. The role is a five-year fixed-term contract with executive status and an annual gross salary between €120,000 and €150,000. Candidates must have a master's degree or equivalent, at least five years of managerial experience in public or private sectors, and good English proficiency. The Director will be responsible for developing the strategic cultural plan, coordinating conservation and valorization activities, managing staff, and preparing budgets. Applications in PDF format, including a CV and a cultural and managerial project, must be submitted by January 31, 2024, at 12:00. A five-member external commission will shortlist candidates, with public and private sessions in mid-February leading to final interviews. The new Director will succeed Guido Curto, who has held the position since spring 2019 and led initiatives such as a new logo, a Royal Pass for 24 Savoy sites, and a traveling photographic exhibition.
