Rent 30th Anniversary Gala Concert Set for October 26, 2026
A one-night-only gala concert celebrating the 30th anniversary of Jonathan Larson's Rent will take place on October 26, 2026, at Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre. The event benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Original director Michael Greif and music director Tim Weil return, along with the original band. Poster art is by Naomi Mizusaki and Drew Hodges. Tickets go on sale June 1, with early access for Broadway Cares members starting May 12. Rent originally debuted at New York Theatre Workshop before transferring to Broadway's Nederlander Theatre in 1996, closing in 2008 after 5,123 performances.
