Renaud Auguste-Dormeuil Brings Participatory Art to Naples' Iconic Sites
From September 19 to October 12, 2019, French artist Renaud Auguste-Dormeuil (born in Paris, 1968) will showcase events in Naples titled 'Tutte le strade portano a Napoli' (All Roads Lead to Naples). This initiative, organized by Arteealtro under the direction of Elisabetta Giovagnoni, is in collaboration with the Municipality of Naples and the Institut Français de Naples. The agenda features performances, installations, and an exhibition. Notably, on September 19, 'I will keep a light burning' will create a future star map using 1,200 torches. On September 21, participants can express their troubles on dissolving paper in 'When the paper,' while 'Giorno Perfetto' will debut at Palazzo Il Grenoble. Finally, 'Spin-off' on October 12 will showcase a drone displaying an LED sign, all aimed at engaging the community and local history.
