Renate Bertlmann to Represent Austria at 2019 Venice Biennale with Solo Pavilion Exhibition

Renate Bertlmann will represent Austria at the 2019 Venice Biennale with a solo presentation in the Austrian Pavilion located in the Giardini. She is the first Austrian female artist to receive this invitation, which she views as a step toward addressing inequalities in art and society.
