Renata Fabbri Gallery Opens SOTTO Project Room in Milan
SOTTO, a new project room dedicated to experimentation and research, opens on June 29, 2022, in Milan. Located in the basement of the existing Renata Fabbri arte contemporanea gallery, the space is conceived by gallerist Renata Fabbri and gallery manager Chiara Onestini. The inaugural exhibition, "There is water sleeping at the bottom of each memory," features works by Jeanine Brito, Linda Carrara, and Lulù Nuti, exploring immersion in memory, matter, and place. SOTTO aims to host multidisciplinary explorations, temporary shows, and site-specific projects by emerging Italian and international artists not typically represented by the gallery. Future plans include a printed publication to archive activities. The space is curated by Chiara Onestini with Valeria Schafer.
