Remembering Wildlife Announces 20 Winning Giraffe Photos for Forthcoming Book

Remembering Wildlife has revealed the 20 winners of its contest for photographs featured in the forthcoming book 'Remembering Giraffes', which is scheduled for release on October 12, 2026. The selected images, drawn from international submissions, will be showcased alongside the works of esteemed wildlife photographers Wim van den Heever and Daryl Balfour, who served as judges. Over the past 30 years, giraffe populations have experienced a decline of approximately 40%. Proceeds from the book will aid conservation initiatives; since 2016, the series has contributed more than $1.64 million to 82 projects across 35 nations. Among the distinguished winners are Kyle Goetsch, Eric Albright, and Georgina Goodwin. The competition was coordinated by Margot Raggett MBE.
