reMarkable launches entry-level e-ink tablet Paper Pure

digital · 2026-05-06

reMarkable has introduced the Paper Pure, a new entry-level e-ink paper tablet priced from £359. Designed to sit below the flagship Paper Pro and Paper Pro Move, it eschews colour e-ink for a focused black-and-white writing and sketching experience. The 10.3-inch Canvas display offers a tactile paper-like surface, with improved page-flipping and mark response speeds. Weighing 360g and 6mm thin, the device boasts up to three weeks of battery life. Chief product officer Mats Herding Solberg stated the goal is to make the signature writing experience more accessible. The tablet uses 38% recycled materials by weight, including lithium, cobalt, magnesium, and plastic, and is assembled with screws and snap fixings for easy repair and disassembly. It supports reMarkable's Connect subscription service for cloud file management, PDF import, document templates, and sync with Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Slack. Handwriting-to-text conversion and AI-driven summaries are included. The Paper Pure replaces the reMarkable 2 and is available bundled with Marker for £359 or with Marker Plus and Sleeve Folio for £399.
