Regione Lazio Opens Cento Incroci Cultural Hub in Rome's Centocelle

In Rome's Centocelle district, the Regione Lazio has officially opened Cento Incroci, a vibrant cultural center located on the former grounds of the Pecora Elettrica bookstore, which was lost to arson in 2019. This multifunctional space will feature a library, study areas, coworking facilities, and host workshops for reading, poetry, music, and storytelling. Managed by LAZIOcrea S.p.a., it seeks to foster legality, community involvement, and cultural engagement. During the opening, President Nicola Zingaretti stated, "You can burn this too, but if you burn it, we will reopen it." The hub will also provide information on regional opportunities and will soon include a neighborhood library for bookcrossing. Upcoming events include the Osservatorio per la Sicurezza e la Legalità meetings (May 10–13), an entrepreneurship event on May 13, and youth training with the Scuola d'Arte Cinematografica Gian Maria Volonté.
