Reggia di Caserta sends chef Rosanna Marziale to Versailles for European royal banquet

The Royal Palace of Caserta (Reggia di Caserta) is participating in 'A Place at the Royal Table,' a European cooperative project developed by the Network of European Royal Residences for the European Year of Cultural Heritage. The project aims to improve education on European cultural heritage through the universal language of food. As part of the initiative, a grand dinner will be held on December 10 at the Palace of Versailles, organized by Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse. Each participating royal residence will send a starred chef as its representative. Representing the Reggia di Caserta and the culinary tradition of the Campania region will be Rosanna Marziale, chef at Le Colonne restaurant and ambassador of buffalo mozzarella DOP. The event is part of a broader cultural promotion strategy by Reggia di Caserta director Mauro Felicori, who also announced that the palace has rejoined the European Royal Residences association after having left it. Felicori noted that participation allows for exchange of experiences through technical seminars, such as those on palace security and restoration of royal gardens and orchards. The Reggia di Caserta is also hosting the Consortium for the Protection of Buffalo Mozzarella DOP in its stables.
