Refik Anadol turns Messi's favorite goal into AI artwork for UNICEF charity auction at Christie's

Lionel Messi and Refik Anadol collaborate on 'A Goal in Life', a charity project where Anadol will create an AI-generated artwork based on Messi's self-selected favorite goal from his career of over 800 goals. The goal will be announced on May 22 at 11 AM Miami time on Inter Miami CF Foundation's social media. The resulting artwork, interpreting millions of data points from that moment, will be unveiled at Christie's New York on June 11 and auctioned as a package with the real goal image, jointly signed by Messi and Anadol. Bidding closes July 25. Proceeds benefit education programs for children in Latin America and the Caribbean through a partnership between Inter Miami CF Foundation and UNICEF. The project is promoted by Inter Miami CF Foundation with creative direction by Xavier Roca and artistic curation by Ximena Caminos. A trailer narrated by Morgan Freeman is already online.
