exhibition · 2026-04-19

The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao launches its new 'in situ' series with an exhibition by media artist Refik Anadol, titled 'Living Architecture: Gehry'. The installation uses AI to reinterpret Frank Gehry's architectural projects, debuting the Large Architecture Model (LAM) developed by Refik Anadol Studio. Anadol's work employs neural networks to transform open-access imagery and archival material into dynamic visual narratives. The exhibition is supported by 1OF1 as Exhibition Partner, Euskaltel as Technology Partner, and Google Cloud. A custom soundscape by Kerim Karaoglu integrates recordings from the Guggenheim Bilbao. The series focuses on site-specific, experiential art at the intersection of technology, science, music, performance, and visual arts. Anadol, based in Los Angeles, is known for using data as material and exploring machine intelligence aesthetics. The exhibition runs at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.
