Record Fleet Set for 23rd Rolex Swan Cup in Sardinia
Set to take place in September 2026, the 23rd Rolex Swan Cup will showcase more than 160 Nautor Swan yachts, marking the largest fleet ever for this event. This biennial regatta, located off the coast of Sardinia, aligns with the 60th anniversary of the Finnish shipyard. Among the entrants is Tarantella, the inaugural production Nautor Swan from 1966, which has recently undergone refurbishment. The competition spans from September 22 to 26, with practice races on the 22nd and official races from the 23rd to the 26th. Daily courses will navigate the Maddalena archipelago and Costa Smeralda. The fleet features the Swan 128 flagships, the new Swan 80, the Swan 131 (the longest Swan ever), and the 51-foot Formosa, owned by Nautor Swan chairman Leonardo Ferragamo. Social activities include an owners' dinner, the Rolex Crew Party, and a prize-giving ceremony. Andrea Recordati, commodore of the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, emphasized the event's family-oriented atmosphere. Each division's winning team will receive a trophy and an engraved Rolex.
