REC Campaign: Italian Artists and Museum Directors Unite for Online Education

other · 2026-04-27

AMACI, the Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums, and Sky Arte have launched REC, a fundraising campaign to support online education access. The initiative, running until May 31 on Sky Arte, features a collective video project involving 35 artists and 18 directors of Italian contemporary art museums. REC aims to counter the rise in educational poverty due to the socioeconomic crisis from the Coronavirus emergency, supporting Save the Children and Sanità di Frontiera. The campaign was conceived by the artist community, who asked AMACI and Sky Arte to lead a charity project focused on the "phase 2" recovery, particularly addressing the fragility of access to education during lockdown. Donations can be made via the Save the Children website or bank transfer to Sanità di Frontiera.
