Re-Constructivist Architecture: 13 International Studios Showcase Roman Countryside Homes at Ierimonti Gallery
There's an exhibition going on at the Ierimonti Gallery in New York called "Re-Constructivist Architecture," which runs until February 10, 2016. It's curated by Jacopo Costanzo, Giovanni Cozzani, and Giulia Leone and features the work of 13 architecture firms, including AM3, fala atelier, and False Mirror Office, among others. These designers, all born in the 1980s, are pushing back against the trend of starchitects. The project, backed by the Comitato Tecnico Scientifico della Casa dell’Architettura and the Consulta Giovani Architetti Roma, tasked each firm with designing a residence for the Roman countryside, and the results are being showcased in a photo gallery.
