RCU and Centre Pompidou Partner for New AlUla Contemporary Art Museum
The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) has teamed up with the Centre Pompidou to establish a contemporary art museum in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. This new museum will focus on 21st-century artwork from the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia, featuring immersive installations, land art, and artist-designed gardens. It will also include a program for commissioning public art and conducting specialized curatorial research. The partnership was signed by Nora Aldabal, RCU's Executive Director of Arts and Creative Industries, and Laurent Le Bon, President of Centre Pompidou, during a visit that included H.H. Prince Badr bin Farhan Al Saud and French Culture Minister Rima Abdul Malak. They plan to collaborate on curatorial projects and share collections.
