Raufaser Atelier Joins PLATTE Berlin with Minimalist Black Cotton Collection

other · 2026-05-31

Raufaser Atelier, established by Lennart Kuss, has joined the PLATTE community and retail space in Berlin. Known for its minimalist designs in black organic cotton, the brand made its debut during Berlin Art Week's Fashion Positions at Hangar 7. Kuss, currently in his fourth semester as a fashion design student at HTW Berlin, launched Raufaser in the summer of 2023. The core collection consists of pieces made entirely from black organic cotton, developed over two years, focusing on silhouette, cut, and texture without any logos. Kuss emphasizes sustainability through on-demand handmade production and mindful consumption. On 18 June, PLATTE will host a Feierabend event featuring Raufaser, with DJ JØRDY and dancer Britt Angus, supported by the Joint Task 'Improvement of the Regional Economic Structure' (GRW).
