Rare Treasures from Jerusalem's Terra Sancta Museum at Kimbell Art Museum
The Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth is hosting "The Holy Sepulcher: Treasures from the Terra Sancta Museum, Jerusalem," a rare U.S. exhibition of liturgical objects from the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Curated by Xavier F. Salomon, the show features metalwork, textiles, and a model of the church made by Palestinian artisans. Objects include a 1628-29 reliquary, an 18th-century crucifix, and vestments from Genoa. The exhibition highlights the survival of these works due to shared stewardship by six Catholic denominations. On view through June 28, 2026, the show travels to only two U.S. venues, with the Kimbell as the first stop.
