Rare Comme des Garçons pieces from Dot Comme collection to auction at Kerry Taylor Auctions

On September 15, 2026, Kerry Taylor Auctions in London will host an auction featuring 265 exceptional Comme des Garçons items from the Dot Comme collection. Entitled Kerry Taylor Auctions Presents Dot Comme: The Auction, this event showcases the evolution of Rei Kawakubo's work from the brand's inception in 1973 to notable collections such as 'Body Meets Dress – Dress Meets Body' (S/S 1997) and 'Broken Bride' (A/W 2005). This autumn, Octavius La Rosa, an avid collector, will relocate his extensive 4,000-piece collection to Paris. Highlights of the auction include a 1970s black raincoat, a wool outfit from A/W 1981 'Pirates', and a trompe l'oeil dress from A/W 2005. The collection can be viewed at Kerry Taylor Auctions on September 11, 13, and 14, 2026.
