Rapper Yung Filly Testifies 'Vibes Were Good' with Accuser in Australian Rape Trial

On Monday, Yung Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, gave his testimony at the District Court of Western Australia. He mentioned feeling a good vibe with a woman who has accused him of rape, an incident that reportedly occurred in September 2024 after his performance at a nightclub in Hillarys, close to Perth. The 30-year-old has denied all allegations, which include six counts of non-consensual sexual penetration, three counts of assault causing bodily harm, and one count of strangulation. He described being attracted to the woman when she approached him from the general area to the VIP section. He insisted that he only touched her waist and denied any wrongdoing. Barrientos also noted that his security guard took her phone as a privacy measure. The court had previously heard that they had consensual sex before things allegedly turned violent. Known for his work with the Beta Squad on YouTube and appearances on Channel 4's celebrity Bake Off, he has been out on bail and was allowed to return to the UK for four months before his trial.
