Rapper Tedua, whose real name is Mario Molinari, is set to both open and close the Sanremo 2024 music festival aboard the Costa Smeralda cruise ship, which will serve as the festival's third venue alongside Teatro Ariston and Piazza Colombo. Born in 1994 in Cogoleto (Genoa) and raised in Milan, he rose to fame with his 2018 album Mowgli, which earned the Premio Lunezia for its musical and literary excellence. His 2023 release, La Divina Commedia, features covers by renowned photographer David LaChapelle, known for his iconic portraits of celebrities. LaChapelle created two covers for the album, inspired by William Blake and shot on a Hawaiian volcano.
