At Milan Design Week 2026, Range Rover Bespoke unveiled the Pearl of Tay, a unique pearlescent vehicle. The exhibition, named “Traces,” runs until April 26 at Galleria Meravigli. It showcases a design tailored by London’s Storey Studio, complemented by object curation from Edinburgh’s Bard gallery. The vehicle draws inspiration from a rare freshwater pearl sourced from Scotland’s River Tay. Visitors can enjoy a mirrored screening room featuring Felipe Sanguinetti’s film “Memory and Colour,” alongside another area, “Memory and Motif,” displaying embroidered works by Hvass and Hannibal, Lisa Rampilli, Petra Borner, and Jules Julien. The soundscape for this section was created by Father. Hugo Macdonald curated 14 single-material pieces. Martin Limpert, Range Rover’s Global Managing Director, highlighted the brand's role in design discussions. This marks Range Rover's second year at Milan Design Week, following the 2025 exhibition “Futurespective: Connected Worlds.”
