Random International and Wayne McGregor Discuss AI and Humanity in Online Conversation

On 28 January at 5pm GMT, an online discussion featuring choreographer Wayne McGregor and the experimental art studio Random International will delve into the themes of automation and the interplay between humans and technology. The conversation will be led by Mark Rappolt, the Editor-in-Chief of ArtReview. This event coincides with the digital launch of their collaborative artwork 'No One is an Island,' created in partnership with Superblue and BMW i. The work integrates sculpture, performance, and music, showcasing a central piece that transitions between robotic and organic forms, with dancers from Studio Wayne McGregor performing alongside, drawing inspiration from Picasso's light drawings. Random International was established in 2005 by Hannes Koch and Florian Ortkrass and has locations in London and Berlin. McGregor, a CBE honoree, serves as the Resident Choreographer at The Royal Ballet.
