Ram Unveils 777 HP 1500 Rumble Bee Muscle Truck

other · 2026-05-21

Ram has introduced the 1500 Rumble Bee, a powerful muscle truck designed to compete with the Ford F-150 Lobo. It comes in three variants: the standard Rumble Bee, Rumble Bee 392, and Rumble Bee SRT, all equipped with Hemi V-8 engines. The entry-level model boasts a 5.7-liter Eagle V-8 engine generating 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque, while the mid-range version features a 6.2-liter Apache V-8 with 470 hp and 455 lb-ft. The top-tier SRT variant is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat Hemi V-8, delivering 777 hp and 680 lb-ft, achieving 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds and a maximum speed of 170 mph. Each model includes a quad cab and a shorter bed, enhanced by aggressive body kits with optional Track Package for the 392. The standard Rumble Bee is set to launch later this year, with the 392 and SRT models expected in early 2027. While pricing details are yet to be revealed, the SRT is anticipated to exceed $100,000. Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis, who reintroduced the Hemi V-8 last year, seeks to revive the brand's street-truck legacy, harking back to the 1970s Dodge Li'l Red Express and 1990s Dakota R/T.
