RAISONLINE: Blockchain-Based Catalogue Raisonné Platform Launches
Arteïa, a platform dedicated to managing art collections digitally, has joined forces with Cahiers d'Art, a magazine focused on literature and art, to launch RAISONLINE by Cahiers d'Art, an online catalog that utilizes blockchain technology. This initiative is designed for professionals in the art market, artists, and collectors. Philippe Gellman, who has been CEO of Arteïa since 2016, emphasized that this partnership combines Cahiers d'Art's expertise in artist relations with Arteïa's technological capabilities. RAISONLINE allows artists to securely document their works' provenance. The inaugural artist to utilize this service is Franco-Algerian Adel Abdessemed. Plans for the future include establishing a marketplace for collectors. Founded in 1926 by Christian Zervos in Paris, Cahiers d'Art is currently directed by Staffan Ahrenberg and has published significant monographs on artists such as Pablo Picasso.
