Raino Isto Named Editor-in-Chief of ARTMargins Online
Raino Isto has been appointed editor-in-chief of ARTMargins Online as of July 14, 2020. Currently serving as the interim Arts-in-Education Director at the Umpqua Valley Arts Association in Oregon, Isto will begin postdoctoral studies at the Institute for Cultural Anthropology and Art Studies in Tirana from winter to spring 2022. Holding a PhD from the University of Maryland obtained in 2019, Isto's research examines the political significance of monumental sculptures in Southeastern Europe. Their published works feature in acclaimed journals, and they are known for curating performance art while actively participating in The Laboratory for Albanian Culture and the Arts.
