Rai launches 'La Prima Donna Che' series on pioneering women
On Rai Uno, 'La Prima Donna Che' premiered on Monday and will continue to air until July 2, 2021, with episodes running from Monday to Friday. This series presents three-minute mini-documentaries that utilize archival footage and personal accounts to celebrate trailblazing women. Developed by Alessandra di Michele Bragadin, its mission is to challenge gender stereotypes. The initiative is supported by the Ministry for Equal Opportunities and the Family, in partnership with the Rai Equal Opportunities Commission, and can also be accessed on Rai Play. Notable figures featured include Palma Bucarelli, Tina Modotti, and Maria Teresa De Filippis, among others. Minister Elena Bonetti highlighted the significance of sharing these narratives.
