exhibition · 2026-04-20

Ragnar Kjartansson collaborates with The Vinyl Factory to establish Bel-Air Glamour Records, a new label whose second release features the soundtrack from his 2012 audiovisual installation The Visitors. This nine-channel work, originally performed at Rokeby farm in upstate New York, showcases Kjartansson and musician friends from the Reykjavík scene performing the same song in separate rooms of a mansion. The installation will have its London debut at The Vinyl Factory's Brewer Street Car Park space from November 11 to December 6, 2015. The label's first release was Kristín Anna's Howl, available for purchase. The piece is based on a live musical performance and involves The All-Star Band. ArtReview previously featured Kjartansson in its May 2014 issue.
