Rag & Bone Resort 2027 Menswear: A Subtle Evolution

Rag & Bone presented its Resort 2027 menswear collection, designed by new head of menswear Swaim Hutson. The brand, founded in 2002 by Marcus Wainwright and David Neville, originally defined downtown New York's laidback uniform with slim jeans, slouchy tees, and classic outerwear infused with British military and Savile Row influences. Now global with dozens of stores and a vast wholesale business, the founders have departed. Hutson, co-founder of the now-defunct Obedient Sons & Daughters, aims to honor longtime customers while refreshing the line for a new generation. His second season features rich emerald green and vivid cobalt blue in suede trucker jackets and cashmere crewnecks, striped jerseys, pleated chinos, and a lightweight cotton jacket evoking a lived-in oxford. Key pieces include a straight-leg jean with a creased-front version, a tobacco brown suede suit jacket, a black leather car coat, and an overdyed khaki green bomber. The collection represents a thoughtful, subtle evolution rather than a revolution.
