Raffaello Sanzio exhibition at Ancona airport for 500th anniversary
To mark the 500th anniversary of Raphael's death, the exhibition 'Una mostra impossibile' has been set up at the Raffaello Sanzio Airport in Falconara Marittima (AN), running until January 20, 2020. The show features 1:1 scale reproductions of the artist's masterpieces from around the world, printed on transparent fabric to enhance detail visibility. Curated by Renato Parascandolo with scientific direction by Ferdinando Bologna, the exhibition is organized in collaboration with ENIT, Aerdorica Aeroporto delle Marche, and supported by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage. After its airport run, the exhibition will travel to European cities starting with Paris at Le Carrousel du Louvre in February 2020, and later to Russia.
