Raffaello e l'eco del mito: grande mostra all'Accademia Carrara di Bergamo
From January 27 to May 6, 2018, the Accademia Carrara in Bergamo will feature the exhibition 'Raffaello and the Echo of the Myth.' Curated by Maria Cristina Rodeschini, Emanuela Daffra, and Giacinto Di Pietrantonio in partnership with GAMeC, the showcase focuses on Raphael's renowned 'Saint Sebastian,' created in 1503 and housed at the academy. The event explores the lasting impact of the Urbino master, particularly during the 19th century and the avant-garde movements of the 20th century. A total of 60 works by artists such as Perugino and Picasso will be displayed.
