Raffaella Giordano passes 'Tu non mi perderai mai' to Stefania Tansini at FOG festival

festival-fair · 2026-04-26

On March 29, 2025, 'Tu non mi perderai mai' made its debut at Teatro Out Off in Milan as part of the FOG festival. This piece, originally crafted by Raffaella Giordano two decades prior, was reimagined for Stefania Tansini. The production involved Sosta Palmizi, Triennale Milano Teatro, Fuorimargine, Fondazione Teatro Grande di Brescia, and Centro di Rilevante Interesse per la Danza Virgilio Sieni. Giordano, a prominent figure in European dance, remarked that Tansini’s stage presence evoked the essence of the original. Although Tansini was initially unfamiliar with the piece, she worked alongside Giordano to bring it back to life. The choreography delves into profound themes, striving for a language that is free from sentimentality, as Giordano perceives dance as both a prayer and a poem.
