Raffaella De Chirico closes Turin gallery, opens in Milan's Brera district

Raffaella De Chirico has permanently closed her Turin gallery and consolidated operations in Milan, citing family losses and the economic vitality of Milan. The new space at Via Monte di Pietà 1A in Brera will serve as both an exhibition venue and an art advisory studio, open by appointment and during key art events. It debuts during Milan Art Week with Sergio Ragalzi's solo show "Iene" (April 10, 2024), featuring paintings and sculptures from his 1980s series exploring violence and aggression through animal imagery. The exhibition includes recent works and a corten steel monkey skull sculpture signaling a new cycle. Following Ragalzi, a monographic show on Paolo Leonardo (June 6, 2024) will examine painting-photography interaction, then Ima Montoya (September 2024), and a group show on line and sign with Leonardo Mosso, Eva Sorensen, and Corrado Bove (late October to year-end).
